Scaleup For Europe – There’s A Market In Cities

According to the 2018 Revision of World Urbanization Prospects produced by the Population Division of the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs, 68% of the world population is projected to live in urban areas by 2050. As the world becomes more urban, most businesses will be concentrated in cities. Urban centers will be hubs of challenges but also of opportunities, namely, for companies.
Whether working as playgrounds, as connectors or even as clients, cities can be facilitators for growth.

At Scaleup for Europe Conference, startups, entrepreneurs, city representatives and facilitators got together to explore how cities can work as growth catalyst, supporting businesses and improving the quality of life in cities.
