Start & Scale Week is back from 1 to 6 of April and it will be the most international of the four editions so far.
This edition will take place in coordination with the World Finals of the International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC), a competition that involves more than 40 thousand students from all over the world.
With a special focus on the forces that will move tech ecosystems in the future, the Start & Scale Week will boost its impact by promoting the connection between the local tech ecosystem and the international guests visiting for ICPC.
The ICPC World Finals are hosted by the University of Porto, in collaboration with the Municipality, and will bring 135 teams of programmers to the city.
The agenda of the week will also gather the Finals of the National Programming Olympiads, a Programming Tournament for High-School Students and Hackacity. But there’s more: panel discussions, meetups, the Doing Business meetings.
Finally, Scaleup for Europe Conference is coming back to approach the role of cities as promoters of ecosystems’ growth.
