The 2nd edition of Entreprenow took place on November 20, at Casa da Música. This initiative, organized by U. Porto Inovação and supported by the ScaleUp Porto Call for Activities, focused mainly on entrepreneurs who challenge the present to create the future.
“Learn, connect, grow” was the motto of the 2nd Entreprenow, which took place this Wednesday, at Casa da Música, in Porto. The annual conference cycle, organized by U. Porto Inovação, once again challenged participants to explore themes, trends and new challenges in the areas of technological entrepreneurship and innovation. However, this year, the initiative was marked by a special focus on the path of entrepreneurs who challenge the present to create the future.
Of the 160 participants, among large companies, startups, investors, researchers, startups and the general public, the presence of the guests stands out Mariana Barbosa, author of the Book of the Makers, Ana Pinto [Reckon], Cláudia Morgado [Auroratech], Hernâni Zão [Bright], João Martins [Vantta], José Pedro Araújo [Addvolt], Márcia Pereira [Bandora], Pedro Esmeriz [ShopAI], Stephan Morais [Indico Capital], among other guests.
According to the organization, the event had the ambition “to involve entrepreneurs, thought leaders and personalities linked to the Porto and national entrepreneur ecosystem”. Alongside this objective, Entreprenow 2019 also wanted to “talk about the challenges and problems faced, the new resources and ways of working, the new ways of collaborating and prevailing, all through success stories – and a lot of work -, counted in the first person and ‘without filters’ ”.
