As part of the ScaleUp Porto strategy, the city of Porto opened the door for the entrepreneurial community to propose activities that fit the ecosystem’s vision, contributing to make it more active and dynamic. 10 activities were selected, among them, Startup Pirates Porto – Digital Health Edition.

The program is taking place from 9 to September 16th at Porto Design Factory, and is open to anyone who has an early stage idea or who, without an idea, wants to learn how to create a product in the Health area. During the week, participants will receive training and work together so they can transform their business ideas into real companies capable of competing in the market.

The program (Agenda HERE) is composed by lectures, workshops, sessions with mentors, networking moments and a final pitch, which count with the participation of several specialists and entrepreneurs from the national Digital Health community. On September 13th, the agenda includes a visit to a startup, followed by a meetup open to the community. This dynamic will take place at Founders Founders house and will count with two international speakers that will explore new technologies applied to healthcare such as augmented reality, 3D printing and blockchain.
