Start & Scale Week Is Back, Starting With Hack For Good

The third Start & Scale Week is back! Hack For Good is the first event of a one-week agenda focused on innovation, technology and entrepreneurship.

The Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation’s hackathon is taking place during this weekend, focusing on 3 challenges: the well-being of the elderly, the well-being of children and young people, and the integration of refugees and migrants.

Participants are working over the weekend to develop solutions with the support of mentors and technology partners, but above all, interacting with potential users. Older people, young people, refugees and migrants visited the venue to support the validation and development of projects according to real needs.

170 people are participating, organized in 36 teams. Three of the teams will be awarded with money, but above all, they will be supported after the event to keep develping sustainable and impactful projects.
