Last week, Porto once again became a meeting point for founders, investors, corporates, and ecosystem builders as SIM Conference returned to the Alfândega do Porto Congress Centre for its 2026 edition.
Over two days, more than 4,000 participants gathered to explore ideas, share experiences, and create new connections across the startup ecosystem. The event continued to strengthen its position as one of the leading startup and investment gatherings in Portugal and Southern Europe.
Conversations That Lead Somewhere
SIM Conference is built around a simple principle: creating meaningful connections between the people building, funding, and supporting startups.
Across keynotes, workshops, pitch sessions, mentoring opportunities, matchmaking activities, and side events, the focus remained on turning conversations into opportunities.
The agenda featured founders, investors, and ecosystem leaders discussing topics ranging from venture capital and international growth to deep tech, artificial intelligence, and the future competitiveness of European startups.
