Created by U.Porto Inovação, The Circle brings together companies born from knowledge and technologies developed within the University of Porto ecosystem. Over the years, it has grown into a strong network of science-based ventures contributing to economic, technological and social progress.

The Circle currently brings together 122 active spin-offs originating from the University of Porto ecosystem. These companies operate across a wide range of sectors, including biotechnology, health, cleantech, mobility, software, and advanced materials.
