The autumn seminar of the SDSN – Sustainable Development Solutions Network, organized in partnership with UPTEC, is part of a series of seminars on sustainable development and competitiveness.

The sea represents one of Portugal’s greatest competitive and strategic advantages. With one of the largest Exclusive Economic Zones in Europe, the country is uniquely positioned to lead the global transition towards a sustainable, innovation-based maritime economy.

However, transforming research and innovation into tangible economic value requires an integrated financial approach combining national funds, venture capital and attractive tax incentives.
