REACTOR WORKSHOP: Open design: Hardware free innovation, with Tauan Bernardo from Viva Lab

June 6, 2019 @ 6:00 pm

Thanks to the Maker community that freely share its creations and the digital fabrication, today it is easy to make objects and machines to solve small problems at home or to start the project for the new trending product.

In this hands-on workshop, we will learn how to navigate the open design ecosystem to generate unusual product ideas.

How far can we go when we do not start from scratch?

The facilitator: Tauan Bernardo

Tauan Bernardo is a Designer and a Maker and has owned a product design agency for 8 years developing technology equipment.

He started working with 3D printing in 2007, was a professor at the IED (European Design Institute) one of the directors of the garage FABLAB, one of the most traditional FABLABs in Brazil.

Today he lives in Porto — Portugal where he lends Consultancy, develops Maker projects with European FabLabs and teaches at Porto Design Factory — Politécnico do Porto.

Tauan is also the founder of Viva Lab — a FabLab focused on Education and Design in which children, youth and adults can develop their creativity by being authentic and following their motivations.

This event is FREE to attend, but you have to register yourself first.
