Our SIM Circuit has come to a full stop, after having covered all the districts of Portugal, including the Azores and Madeira. In all, we promoted 19 sessions full of surprises and deep insights. We had the chance to connect with local ecosystems and to help inspire founders, incubators, and investors from all over the country.

All this is now culminating in a major conference focused on the same theme: Startups & Investment Matching. The SIM Conference (2-4 May) is set to match entrepreneurs, startups, and national and international investors. Focused on generating opportunities for connections, through carefully curated content, SIM is a unique experience for founders and investors to forge meaningful relationships.

In this unique Hangout, we’ll wrap up this SIM Circuit, circling back to some of the most important points of relevance, and we’ll unveil what is coming up with SIM Conference. From SIM Showcase to a careful matchmaking process, we aim to engage with all stakeholders and create greater connections.

ABOUT ABOVE & BEYOND HANGOUTS

Above & Beyond Hangout is a monthly hangout for all of those hacking the Portuguese entrepreneur ecosystem.

Happening at Ferroviário (Lisboa) and at Selina Navis Coworking (Porto), it is a great opportunity to gather all level ecosystem players wanting to contribute to overcoming the community’s challenges.

Every year, in November, Lisboa is turned into the epicenter of the entrepreneurship community with Web Summit. We want to leverage that community and create a frequent space where everyone can discuss important topics for the development of the ecosystem.
