SUMMARY:SEO em WordPress - Os desafios da velocidade de um site em Gutenberg
DESCRIPTION:A e-goi\, empresa de automação de marketing\, decidiu renovar o site.

SUMMARY:37th Agile Connect Porto Meetup - Lateral Thinking

Sometimes with vertical thinking\, we believe the solutions is impossible to achieve!\nAnd how can we think out of the box? This mini-workshop will help to raise your awareness on this by doing creative exercises/games that unblock the understanding of Lateral Thinking.

SUMMARY:Flexible Work and Outsourcing
DESCRIPTION:Flexible Work and Outsourcing is an event focused on sharing knowledge and experiences about the relevance of Flexibility at Work in Portugal and the challenges of Outsourcing for Startup and SMEs founders and managers. \nThe meetup will be led by Polar Insight\, which will include the presentation of their study FLEX about flexible and remote work in Portugal. \nIn October 2019 CRU/Thinking Spoon will host a three-day event aimed at creative freelancers and solopreneurs under the name of Porto Indie Workers Bootcamp. One of the main goals of this event is to provide the tools for this working class\, so to better respond to the needs of the Portuguese labor market. \nMoved by the desire of understanding this reality we would like to listen to the Startup and SMEs community\, unveiling its needs regarding freelancers\, as well as remote work. Hence the meetup Flexible Work and Outsourcing led by Polar Insight. Aimed at Startup and SMEs founders and managers this session has the purpose of collecting data on the vision and interest of working with freelancers. \nPolar Insight will present the study Flex that approaches the subject of Flexible and Remote Work in Portugal\, comparing the obtained results with the politics of the Startup universe. At Porto Indie Workers Bootcamp both the conclusions drawn from this session and the conclusions drawn after the individual interviews with founders and managers — which will be conducted in the meantime\, before and after the meetup — will be presented. \nSave the date: June 19th during lunchtime (12:30 – 14h) at Founders Founders! The entrance is free and there is the possibility of having lunch at the FF cafeteria (5€: main course\, drink and espresso).

SUMMARY:Masterclass Security
DESCRIPTION:Bounty life\, with André Baptista\nIn this talk\, André will show his journey\, how to achieve the #bountylife\, how live hacking events work and how to get invites. He will walk you through his best bugs and techniques\, found during live hacking events and doing bug bounties. \n  \nTrusted Types and the end of DOM XSS\, with Krzysztof Kotowicz\n18 years have passed since Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) has been identified as a web vulnerability class. Since then\, numerous efforts have been proposed to detect\, fix or mitigate it. We’ve seen vulnerability scanners\, fuzzers\, static & dynamic code analyzers\, taint tracking engines\, linters\, and finally XSS filters\, WAFs and all various flavours of Content Security Policy. \nVarious libraries have been created to minimize or eliminate the risk of XSS: HTML sanitizers\, templating libraries\, sandboxing solutions – and yet XSS is still one of the most prevalent vulnerabilities plaguing web applications. \nIt seems like\, while we have a pretty good grasp on how to address stored & reflected XSS\, “solving” DOM XSS remains an open question. DOM XSS is caused by ever-growing complexity of client-side JavaScript code (see script gadgets)\, but most importantly – the lack of security in DOM API design. \nBut perhaps we have a chance this time? Trusted Types is a new browser API that allows a web application to limit its interaction with the DOM\, with the goal of obliterating DOM XSS. Based on the battle-tested design that prevents XSS in most of the Google web applications\, Trusted Types add the DOM XSS prevention API to the browsers. Trusted Types allow to isolate the application components that may potentially introduce DOM XSS into tiny\, reviewable pieces\, and guarantee that the rest of the code is DOM-XSS free. They can also leverage existing solutions like autoescaping templating libraries\, or client-side sanitizers to use them as building blocks of a secure application. \nTrusted Types have a working polyfill\, an implementation in Chrome and integrate well with existing JS frameworks and libraries. Oddly similar to both XSS filters and CSP\, they are also fundamentally different\, and in our opinion have a reasonable chance of eliminating DOM XSS – once and for all. \n  \nAbout the Guests\nAndré Baptista is a Professor at Master in Information Security in the University of Porto and Security researcher. He’s the captain of xSTF CTF team and the winner of the Most Valuable Hacker prize in a HackerOne live-hacking event in Washington DC\, 2018. Bug Bounty hunter and C3P collaborator (Center of Competence in Cyber Security and Privacy) – University of Porto. \nKrzysztof Kotowicz is an Information Security Engineer at Google and a panel member of Google’s Vulnerability Rewards Program. He’s a web security researcher specialized in JavaScript\, browser extensions and client-side security. Author of multiple open-source pentesting tools\, and recognized HTML5/UI redressing attack vectors. Speaker at international IT security conferences & meetings (Black Hat\, BruCON\, Hack In Paris\, CONFidence\, SecurityByte\, HackPra\, OWASP AppSec\, Insomni’Hack).

DESCRIPTION:CDN stands for Content Delivery Network and is commonly a large network of edge servers. It all started to replicate data across this network to be closer to the end-users. \nSoon it started to delivery other services\, not only to leverage performance\, but also to set up a security perimeter further from the origin where all app and business logic is. \nWe’ll start to briefly talk about origin infrastructure and some basic security measures and move to the delivery of the application content to the end-users\, aiming security while leveraging performance as well. \nSome real case scenarios will be presented in detail and show what is done on both sides\, infrastructure and CDN\, in order to achieve the best end-user experience\, boosting sales and ROI. \n…… \nThe Speaker: José Barros \nJosé Barros\, sometimes nicknamed “Programmer Physicist”\, was in 1996\, during his degree in Physics at the University of Porto\, that he began his connection to the cyber world. In early 1997 he made his first paid website and since then the Internet has always been a constant in his academic and professional life. He left programming in 2008 when he was invited to work with Akamai: the largest Content Delivery Network (CDN). \nHis knowledge of the Internet and how it works has taken a qualitative and quantitative leap. He then worked with various government agencies and large European companies. During this period\, he helped these entities to continue their online presence\, not only at the national level\, but worldwide\, always aiming at the security of their applications and their contents. \nHe’s currently dedicated to his latest professional project\, the Switch Digital\, whose objective is to offer solutions to customers with a strong growth in web services\, giving advice and assisting in the implementation of Cloud architectures\, with a permanent focus on security\, not neglecting performance. \nThis event is FREE to attend\, but you have to register yourself first. \nBring a Friend and see you there!

SUMMARY:REACTOR TALK: The power of storytelling (or how I lost my fears by doing what I love!)\, with Cristina Alves from Compasso Verde Comunicação
DESCRIPTION:“There are two things\, only two things\, truly important important in life: love and fear. We are what we are in the balance between these two.” \nProf. José Eduardo Pinto da Costa \nI’ll never forget these words. I heard them from Professor Pinto da Costa in an interview he gave me two years ago. These words struck me as the purest\, most transparent and at the same time\, most complex truth about life and human beings’ hopes and dreams. They’ve inspired me since. The more space I give to do what I love\, the less space fears have in my life. Storytelling\, scriptwriting\, that’s what I love to do. \nI tell stories\, or rather I invent stories\, since I can remember. I was very young\, just a little child\, and my mother used to tell me: “you make a lot of movies”. It’s funny\, looking back\, my mother was right. That’s what I do. I make movies\, and I’m paid to do them. \nIt’s all about storytelling\, one of the ancient ways humans have to share experiences\, bond and connect with each other. Cave men told their stories on the walls in blood. Later\, others gathered around the fire to do so. Today we do it in the world wide web\, the coffee shops and even at the Reactor Innovation Hub. Stories bring people together. \nWho doesn’t remember the bedtime stories our mothers\, fathers\, grannies\, aunts … told us when we were children? For me\, that’s one the comfiest childhood memories I have: the stories – always the same two or three – my aunt Lourdes told me each time she would spend the weekend with us. I loved to listen to her telling me that same old\, same old “Three Little Pigs” story. I remember I felt safe and reassured listening to her telling me those same bedtime stories. \nAnd that’s the power of the storytelling. Stories bring people together. They connect us all\, they reassure us\, they help us letting go of our fears\, just like when we were kids. \n… \nThe Speaker: Cristina Alves \nCommunication is her passion\, storytelling her path. With a 20- year career in communication\, with a brief but enriching passage through teaching\, 14 years of her experience were working on television. RTP2\, Sic Notícias and also a documentary for TVI\, bust most of the time\, 12 years\, were dedicated to RTP1\, mainly live broadcast\, whether in reports and in studio. \nIt was in the Faculdade de Letras da Universidade do Porto that she took a degree commonly known as Modern Languages and Literatures\, specializing in French and English language and cultures. There she got the seeds\, linguistic\, literary and cultural\, that allow her to work in Communication as he does. She travels the country in search of stories to tell. \nDocumentary\, institutional and promotional\, her job is to create movies. Research\, ask\, interview\, observe\, write the plot and then shoot\, perform\, and edit one more movie. \nThis event is FREE to attend\, but you have to register yourself first. \nBring a Friend and see you there!
