DESCRIPTION:This talk will address the impact of the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) on marketing operations\, with focus on the implementation of privacy by design principles on the development of digital marketing campaigns. The protection of databases consisting of personal data processed for marketing purposes will also be under discussion. \nThe talk will be presented by Pedro Vidigal Monteiro and Jorge Miguel Ribeiro\, lawyers of TELLES’s Digital\, Privacy and Cybersecurity team. \nThe Speakers: Pedro Vidigal Monteiro and Jorge Miguel Ribeiro \nPedro is Of-Counsel at TELLES\, heading the Digital\, Privacy & Cybersecurity Department. Pedro also chairs the Portuguese Commission on Digital Economy of the International Chamber of Commerce. \nJorge is associate lawyer at TELLES working in the Digital\, Privacy & Cybersecurity.
