SUMMARY:Flexible Work and Outsourcing
DESCRIPTION:Flexible Work and Outsourcing is an event focused on sharing knowledge and experiences about the relevance of Flexibility at Work in Portugal and the challenges of Outsourcing for Startup and SMEs founders and managers. \nThe meetup will be led by Polar Insight\, which will include the presentation of their study FLEX about flexible and remote work in Portugal. \nIn October 2019 CRU/Thinking Spoon will host a three-day event aimed at creative freelancers and solopreneurs under the name of Porto Indie Workers Bootcamp. One of the main goals of this event is to provide the tools for this working class\, so to better respond to the needs of the Portuguese labor market. \nMoved by the desire of understanding this reality we would like to listen to the Startup and SMEs community\, unveiling its needs regarding freelancers\, as well as remote work. Hence the meetup Flexible Work and Outsourcing led by Polar Insight. Aimed at Startup and SMEs founders and managers this session has the purpose of collecting data on the vision and interest of working with freelancers. \nPolar Insight will present the study Flex that approaches the subject of Flexible and Remote Work in Portugal\, comparing the obtained results with the politics of the Startup universe. At Porto Indie Workers Bootcamp both the conclusions drawn from this session and the conclusions drawn after the individual interviews with founders and managers — which will be conducted in the meantime\, before and after the meetup — will be presented. \nSave the date: June 19th during lunchtime (12:30 – 14h) at Founders Founders! The entrance is free and there is the possibility of having lunch at the FF cafeteria (5€: main course\, drink and espresso). \n
